Once you reach the intersection of Bay and Queens Quay, you can find the Ferry Terminal by following the path to the right of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Take the Hanlan's Point Ferry. The start of the Art Keay Memorial Race is a short walk along the path from the dock at Hanlan's Point. Ferries also run to Centre Island and Ward's Island, but you would need to walk several kilometres to reach the start of the race from these points. The cost of the return trip is $ 5.00. Here's Some Info... The Toronto Island Ferry Dock is located at the intersection of Bay Street and Queens Quay West, south of Lakeshore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway. If you are driving, there is ample parking along Queens Quay. By public transportation, take the subway to Union station and either walk down Bay Street or transfer to the Harbourfront L.R.T. The Toronto Transit Commission provides complete details. It's a good idea to verify when the first train arrives at your stop on Sunday morning. There may not be enough time to catch the ferry! |
